Samsung has recently launched its latest Galaxy S23 series, consisting of the Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23. The new lineup offers several exciting upgrades, including an advanced camera system, improved performance and sustainability features.

Other camera advancements include stable low-light videos with double OIS angles, enhanced 8K video at 30fps and advanced object-based AI that analyses each detail in the frame, including facial features.

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, providing lightning-fast performance for all devices in the lineup. The Galaxy S23 Ultra also has a 5,000mAh battery allowing for extended use. Furthermore, it’s prepared for the future of mobile gaming, supporting real-time ray tracing for more lifelike renderings.
The 6.8-inch edge display with a reduced curvature provides a larger and flatter surface area. At the same time, the enhanced comfort feature allows users to adjust colour tones and contrast levels to reduce eye strain from screen time at night.
Sustainable Design
Samsung has made sustainability a priority with the Galaxy S23 series, using recycled materials such as recycled aluminium, glass, plastics sourced from discarded fishing nets, and PET bottles. The redesigned packaging box is made with 100% recycled paper and all the phones in the series will receive four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security updates.
Seamless Ecosystem
The Galaxy S23 series offers a connected experience with added benefits, such as Samsung Multi Control, which allows for mouse and keyboard functionality between a Samsung Galaxy PC and tablet. The enhanced text usability makes it easy to copy and paste text, such as URLs from one device to another to continue activities on another device.
Pricing and Availability
The Galaxy S23 Ultra 512 GB will be priced at KES 209,999, the S23 Ultra 256GB at KES 195,999, the Samsung Galaxy S23+ 256 GB at KES 154,999 and the Galaxy S23 at KES 135,999.
The Galaxy S23 series is currently available for pre-order until February 28th and comes in four colours: Phantom Black, Cream, Green and Lavender. The devices will be available at authorized Samsung dealer stores, starting March 1st 2023.
